Amateur Photographer ‘Great Shots Whatever The Weather’ Article

In November 2019 I was contacted by the Deputy Editor of Amateur Photographer, Geoff Harris and asked if I would like to be involved in providing content for an article entitled ‘Great Shots Whatever The Weather’ to be published at the end of January 2020. I was delighted to assist. My Fogbow image made it into the article too.

During our thirty minute conversation on the phone, I offered several tips and tricks that I use in assisting me to capture high quality images during the wild winter weather. On the 25th January 2020, the magazine hit the shelves while I was away in Canada. On my return, I contacted Geoff and asked for a PDF copy of the article for me to read and I am absolutely delighted with the results.

With kind permission obtained from Geoff, I can publicly share the article below. Enjoy the read and I have included close up sections of my contributions at the bottom of this post. Please feel free to leave a comment and I shall respond as always.

P.S. You can read all about how I captured the amazing white rainbow (fogbow) in my blog entitled ‘Around The World In 24 Hours’

Best wishes

Melvin
