I have photographed this wonderful location since February 2007 and on a brisk morning in January 2022, I captured this image of the falling moon that was directly and centrally positioned over the pier. I do not mind admitting that it was a breathtaking moment.
It looked majestic, atmospheric and stunning all at the same time. The reflection of the moon lined up perfectly with the centre post of the pier. The mist was present on arrival and really added to the amazing feeling we experienced. The colour was gorgeous too, a mixture of blues and magentas present. What a pre-dawn shoot that was.
