Windermere, Rydal Cave & Falls, Lake District Photography Workshop

£125.00

Saturday 22nd February 2020 JUST ANNOUNCED

Come and join me as we spend the day capturing some wonderful images in the Lake District. We will visit four locations which will give you an opportunity to capture a gorgeous man-made slate cave, a wonderful waterfall with a twist and some lovely sailing boats at England’s largest lake (Windermere) and a section of the Windermere shoreline which houses five wooden piers accessed through a beautiful little woodland area. We will start the day nice and early at Waterhead in Ambleside which will allow us a great opportunity to photograph the small sailing boats set against the backdrop of the Langdales. Then onto Rydal Cave which has some beautiful detail on the walls and some fantastic colours to capture as well as the cave itself.

We will then venture onto Rydal Falls across the road where a beautiful little hidden gem awaits us.

And to finish the day off, we will head to Millerground, a lovely little National Trust woodland section of the water’s edge of Windermere. It is here that you will find five wooden piers to photograph and even practice your long exposure techniques if you wish. As a user and official Sales Agent for Kase Filters, there will be an opportunity to use my range of their filters including the 3, 6, 10 and 16 stop ND filters should you want to try to capture some long exposure images. Tuition on the use of filters is included.

On this landscape photography workshop, there is something for everyone on this very popular one day workshop. Places are limited to six and free return transport in my Volvo XC60 is available from Preston if required (max three seats available).
