Neist Point Lighthouse, Isle of Skye, Scotland

As difficult as the Isle of Skye can be to photograph, due to the changeable weather system present, it rarely fails to deliver you countless opportunities to ‘capture some gold’ should you decide to go out and make the effort. Here’s an image I took on the final evening of a five day workshop I was running in which a glorious sunset occurred at one of my favourite locations, Neist Point Lighthouse on the west coast. I have seen this composition done before by others that I follow and naturally I wanted to capture it for myself. So having walked down the seemingly endless numbers of steps, I, along with my clients, spent a wonderful hour or so photographing the lighthouse from this wonderful little bay. I am delighted with how it worked it with the sky offering up some classic clouds with some lovely muted colours.

• All A2 and A3 prints are professionally printed by me using an A2 Epson SC-P800 professional printer and genuine Epson UltraChrome HD inks
• A 10mm border to assist easy mounting or framing
• My signature and date of purchase is written on the rear of the print
