Exertion Level
Easy – All locations within half a mile from the car, some much closer. Care must be taken on the beach at Crosby due to soft sand. A reasonable level of fitness and mobility is required.

Come and join me as we spend the day shooting some wonderful long exposure images. I have chosen two fantastic locations, Crosby Beach and Perch Rock Lighthouse as both present amazing opportunities to capture some stunning long exposure images, both in colour and with black and white in mind.

We will start the day at Crosby Beach to capture Antony Gormley’s life size statues. We will arrive on location at 9.30am, nearly four hours before high tide to allow you to visualise and set up some great compositions. We will then leave for the iconic Perch Rock at 12.15pm giving you a further three hours to photograph the many different subjects in and around the lighthouse. There will be ample opportunities to use my range of Kase filters including their 3, 6 stop, 8 stop and 10 stop filters should you want to try to capture some long exposure images. Tuition on the use of filters is included.

All in all, there is something for everyone on this very popular one day workshop. Places are limited to six and free return transport in my nine-seater Ford Tourneo minibus is available from Preston if required.

RETURN TRANSPORT TO CROSBY AND NEW BRIGHTON FROM PRESTON AVAILABLE (if required)
I offer free return travel from Preston to Crosby and New Brighton. I will be leaving Preston at 9am on Sunday 10th March and arriving at the free car park at the bottom of Mariners Rd, Crosby (opposite the swimming pool).

TRANSPORT DURING THE WORKSHOP
Our mode of transport for this workshop is my modern nine-seater long wheelbase Ford Tourneo minibus. This ensures that there is plenty of space for us all including luggage, clothing and camera equipment. The minibus also provides three pin plug sockets for charging up camera batteries on the go as well as several USB ports for charging up mobile phones. There is dedicated heating for rear passengers.
