Dusk at Loch Achtriochtan, Glencoe, Scotland

Loch Achtriochtan is a gorgeous small loch located east of Glencoe and is very visible from the roadside. I love photographing this loch but only when there is no wind and the water is absolutely still for it produces some amazing reflection images. On this particular day back in February 2015, a long day had been completed and on the drive back to the hotel, I spotted the perfect scene ready to be shot so I quickly pulled up and set up the camera. I was using a Zeiss 21mm lens at the time and the sharpness of those grasses in the foreground are quite incredible.

• A 10mm border to assist easy mounting or framing
