Exertion Level
Easy – All locations close to the car. A reasonable level of fitness and mobility is required.

Along with New Zealand, the Canadian Rockies constantly tops the bucket lists of landscape photographers all around the world and for 2019, I am delighted to offer workshops to both of these inspiring locations.

We will visit the Canadian Rockies in autumn, the most beautiful time of the year. Snow-capped mountains, along with stunning aqua lakes which offer beautiful mountain reflections and wide-open vistas await us.

Our seven night autumn workshop will see us based at Lake Louise Inn in the central location of Lake Louise Village. The three national parks of Banff, Jasper and Yoho are on our doorstep and offer so many stunning subjects to capture on camera and perfect opportunities for fantastic compositions. At this time of the year the scenery starts changing colour as vibrant yellows, reds and oranges dominate the landscape all around us.

In Banff we will visit the iconic lakes of Moraine, Louise, Bow, Peyto, Waterfowl and Vermilion. In Yoho, we will visit the 850ft Takakkaw Falls and Emerald Lake and in Jasper, the Icefields Parkway and the Athabasca Glacier.

This workshop will be taken at a leisurely pace to allow everyone to experience the stunning locations and enjoy them too. Both Anne and I will be on hand to offer dedicated 1-2-1 photography tuition to help develop your photography vision and all skill levels are welcomed, from the newcomer, through to the hobbyist and those much more experienced.

We hope you can join us on what we promise will be a landscape photography experience of a lifetime.

We do not have a set day to day itinerary as we remain flexible depending on the weather but the locations that we will be visiting  include the following;

Athabasca Falls
Bow Lake
Castle Mountain
Emerald Lake
Herbert Lake
Icefields Parkway
Johnson Lake
Lake Louise
Moraine Lake
Morant’s Curve
Peyto Lake
Takakkaw Falls
