So there you go, twenty four days of photography, driving, eating, sleeping, editing, shooting videos for YouTube, filming Facebook LIVE videos, posting on social media, meeting people, running workshops and generally having an amazing time with some challenging moments thrown in for good measure. I CANNOT WAIT.

I will be posting regular updates and images on my Facebook photography page as well as posting videos on my YouTube channel and emailing those on my mailing list (SIGN UP TO MY MAILING LIST HERE). I hope you can all join me on this fantastic journey.

Best wishes Melvin

    • Hi Neil

My plans are full for the 19th now and those on the 18th include a sunrise and morning shoot in and around Bibury and Burford in the Cotswolds. Now, this is an area that I am not familiar with at all so if you wish to meet me and show me round some lovely places in the Cotswolds region (if you know it too), that would be great. You can email me at if you’re still interested in meeting up.

      Best wishes Melvin

  1. Hi Melvin, hope you are well I am quite interested in meeting up with you on wednesday 19th how will I find out details ?.Many thanks

    • Hi Ian

I will be at Clevedon Pier for sunrise before moving onto nearby locations, one of which being Portishead. I have a couple of people popping along for the morning/day but you’re more than welcome to join us. There’s no tuition involved as it’s a non-workshop day but for sure I would be happy to have some company. Send me an email at so that I have a written record of our conversation. It’s the only way I can keep pace with everything at the moment.

Looking forward to meeting you Ian.

      Best wishes Melvin

  2. No problem at all Anita. I’m happy that you’re motivated by my efforts. I too am motivated by others so it is great to be part of that cycle of life. Have a great day.

    Best wishes Melvin

  3. Hi Melvin,
Wow! What a plan! This summer tour is a very, very good idea! Have a nice journey, take care! I’m looking forward to seeing your posts, photographs and if you have time for a carpool karaoke… maybe two…☺

    • Thank you Csilla. I decided that I should really have another adventure as it helps keep you young and it makes life interesting and I’m all about trying to make life interesting. I hope to capture some great places on camera (and do them justice) as well as meet some fantastic people on the way. It’s a hell of a road trip but I aim to enjoy it and hope that you enjoy following me too. Have a great day Csilla and enjoy the carpool karaoke videos too, ha, ha. x
